Salmet had different challenges:

• managing and controlling a large number of variants
• entering in new markets

Results

Through Windchill, there is now a central and effective data provision. This has also enabled neutral formats to be provided automatically. As a result, information can be found quickly through direct product reference, product quality has been increased and new markets are opening for SALMET.

Through the optimized use of Creo in conjunction with the PLM platform PTC Windchill PDMLink, we are able to carry out design more cost-effectively and in line with market requirements.
