In this myPDS Creo Import Data Doctor training, you will learn to use Import Data Doctor to correct geometry in Creo. After you import a part model (or a part from an imported assembly model) into the Creo Parametric session, you use Import Data Doctor (IDD) to correct geometry, ensure surface consistency, add boundary conditions, close unwanted gaps, and readjust tangency in imported parts. Some commonly used IDD techniques that are needed to repair an imported model and convert the model to a Creo Parametric model are presented.
After completing the exercises, you will be able to repair, modify and use external models in your own designs.
