Course Description

In this course, you will learn about the basic and advanced editing operations of Arbortext Editor. The course emphasizes hands-on experience, interaction between student and instructor, and a solid foundation in the fundamental skills and commands of this structured authoring tool.

Course Content

The course is divided into 8 modules covering the basic and advanced editing operations of Arbortext Editor. The modules cover areas such as editing text, assigning attributes, creating tables, management tools and previewing and printing documents. Each day a certain amount of modules are presented and exercises based on information in the modules are performed.

Prerequisites: Introduction to XML, DITA and Arbortext or equivalent experience
Audience: Authors, editors, and technical support staff members
