 In the year 2020 Electrolux Professional became its own legal entity. Before 2020 Electrolux Professional had a completely different strategy regarding CAD and PLM that was driven by Electrolux AB.

In 2020 with the split from Electrolux AB there was the opportunity for Electrolux Professional to create their own strategies. Moving to a global standardized system platform suitable for the professional B2B solutions they provide. A new possibility to re-think and create our their own processes on a global level.

Electrolux Professional Business Area Laundry in Sweden had already been using Windchill and Creo for many years. Thus, giving the opportunity to re-use a solid and well-working PDM thinking to a global platform supporting their 12 sites around the world.
