VISCO

Visualization comparison for Creo View

VizCo – Assemblies comparison

With CADS ‘ VizCo, you can easily compare assemblies in Creo View and identify differences. This saves you time, speeds up the design process and improves productivity. VizCo tools compare assemblies to graphically show the differences between two versions of a design so that differences caused by changes in the design can be quickly identified.

How VizCo works

The comparison is based on recording both structures in terms of name, the version used and absolute position. Components installed multiple times are recorded multiple times. After the analysis has been completed, the user can select the results separately (e.g. as a group). For further use, the analysis results can optionally be saved in a file in MS Excel format.

Eliminated components

Components that exist with the same name in the older structure but are no longer contained in the new structure are considered omitted and are displayed in red.

Added components

Components that only exist in the new structure with the same name are considered added components and are displayed in green accordingly.

Components changed in position

All components that are not assigned to the categories or are added are analyzed with regard to their absolute position. These are shown in blue.

Changed components

Here the components are analyzed with regard to the version used. If there is a difference, these components are shown in yellow.
