Results

At Krug & Priester, PTC Windchill Solution has been introduced. This promotes teamwork, increases reuse, reduces search times and allows change processes to be standardized. As a result, parallel processes reduce project runtimes. It has also already been possible to carry out the first project with Windchill. Today, air cleaners are developed in the company Krug & Priester and are developed as a team. Windchill ensures a smooth process and guarantees data integrity.

Windchill has reduced project times. The fast finding of assemblies and parts, a clear, unambiguous and up-to-date data structure and the possibility to work in parallel with teams on developments are largely responsible for this. The time required to approve parts and drawings has been reduced by 30%. The generation of viewing data for the ERP system has been completely automated. The use of original paper drawings and the associated manual processes could thus be completely replaced.
